Full Circle Urban Farm submitted a proposal for an RFQ (request-for-qualifications) with Baltimore City's Office of Sustainability for access to City land for use for Urban Agriculture operations in Baltimore.
Preliminary decisions and negotiations will happen within a month's time.

Sustainably Raised Fish and Produce
Inspired by Growing Power, INC and other models for urban agriculture Full Circle Urban Farm is in the design stage for piloting an aquaponics system. We are building on successes and knowledge of design and implementation of this innovative food system. Growing fish and produce in the same closed loop system of fertility management and biofiltration yields a synthesis of aquaculture and hydroponics that is appropriate technology for urban agricultural applications. Recycling the abundance of worms and microgreens from other production systems will help supplement the diet of the fish and help keep this system's inputs low.
